Yarn at Reefton

On Tuesday the 21st May Reefton is holding its annual fibre day.

This year the theme is “Journeys in Yarn” and the speakers will be talking about their experiences as crafters and artists, or about trips they have taken because of their love of yarn.

The event is on from 10m until 3pm and there will be stalls raffles and activities for the family. People are invited to bring along something for “show and tell” (remember to tag the item with your name) and a plate for shared lunch.

There is a $5 entry fee that includes morning tea and the event is at the Working Men’s Club at 55 Bridge Street. Anyone with an interest in wool or fibre can come along.
