Matariki 2024

Matariki is here!

The Māori celebration of a new year is called Matariki, after the cluster of stars that is also known as The Pleiades. It is a time to be joyful because of the turn of the seasons but it is also a time to reflect and remember those who are no longer with us. It is a time to celebrate and look to the future, confident in the idea that those who have come before have given us knowledge to help guide the coming year.

Here is to a New Year filled with love and hope for everyone. Thank you for being part of my journey through creativity in the blog for the last year. I look forward to more art, craft, music and artistry!
