Last week the blog passed a significant milestone.

Regular readers may have noticed that the blog did not come out as usual on Sunday.

Every week I write blog articles that are all date-stamped automatically. When Mailchimp, the service that I use to email the blog, puts the articles together to send those articles are then marked as “Sent”. This is so that the same articles are not resent the next week.

Last week the Mailchimp service did not have enough capacity to send the emails because there are only a limited number of “Sends” in the package that I use. That meant that the articles did not go because I needed more capacity than existed. I quickly amended that by buying a new package and then I tried to send the newsletter again. Sadly though, the articles had already been marked as “Sent” and so you will have received a lot of gobbledegook, for which I apologise.

The good news is that the blog has now grown too big to be a free version any longer. There are enough subscribers to merit moving up into a paying subscription for the service. Fingers crossed that the blog goes out as usual this week and if did not get to read the articles from last week you can still go to the website and read them there.
