The textile collection has been growing for four decades and now includes fabrics, costume, fashion and equipment to do with manufacture and making. The collection is in the process of being digitised and will be made available online.
At present the collection is concentrating on New Zealand’s fashion and clothing past, with menswear being a particular sector of interest.
Visitors are welcome to see the collection, currently housed in the Regent Theatre upstairs in Greymouth, West Coast, New Zealand. To request an appointment please send an email to [email protected].
