Klatle-Bhi carves masks and then uses these deigns to produce kitchen linens, bags, and scarves. This design is based on his Moon Spirit mask.
Moon is the protector and guardian of the earth. It controls the tides and, with the stars, illuminates the night. The moon spirit watches over us and has the ability to change our moods. As well as stealing the Sun to bring daylight, the Raven stole the Moon, along with the Stars, and flung them to the sky to lighten the darkness of night. The moon represents the interconnectedness of all living beings.
A truly passionate sculptor, his fundamental goal is to help people achieve a vibrational connection to the earth through his art. He has spent many years studying the works of his ancestors and working with other native artists gaining an understanding and knowledge of the rich native cultures along the west coast of Canada.
