Feedback on the blog

Many thanks to everyone who responded to last week’s request for feedback. It is appreciated.

Some things readers said…

  • Much more about New Zealand Aotearoa. More pictures, especially of winter scenes and snow. More about the landscape. More about the history of the country.
  • More information in each article, especially about artist’s techniques and workplaces. I will try to find out more and post it. I will also include more links to other relevant websites and social media.
  • More artists and their work.
  • Information about wool and sheep. Fibres. The ways people work with these materials.
  • Traditions, heritage, history, ways of life
  • Art and craft, literature.

Phew! That is a good amount of great feedback, isn’t it?

There are some things that people have suggested might make the blog better to read. These are technical things such as the placement of the subscribe button, or the use of large header images that make things hard to find. I shall slowly make those changes over the next little while.

Once again, thank you all. In a few weeks we are heading away to Venice for the Biennale (More about the Biennale this week), then London for a few days, Shetland for a couple of days, and then back to Greymouth via London and Athens. I shall try to blog about our travels because there is going to be a lot of art and music while we are away and, of course, I will bring news from Shetland too.
