This weekend is Open Studios across Māwhera Greymouth, organised by the Left Bank Art Gallery.
Each year artists open their studios and galleries for the public to visit. It is an interesting way to spend time, for both the visitors and the artists, and there are lots of great conversations to be had during the two days.
Today I met one of the founders of “Signal Hill Radio”. Based in Chicago this is an audio magazine that transmits “documentaries of all kinds: reporting, essays, shorts, profiles, dispatches, reviews, and other things we haven’t named yet.”
Have a listen to Signal Hill Radio here. What a lovely way to start a Sunday.
