Over the next few weeks there will be some changes for the blog.
The blog takes a long time to write each week so I am considering the options in producing it. Does it go out every two weeks, or does it remain a weekly occurrence? Should it be shorter, or come out once a month. These are all things to think about for the next wee while.
I am also going to move the blog. It currently goes out under GlobalYell, the organisation that I established in Shetland. Now that I am based in New Zealand it is appropriate to shift the delivery. I will be looking at how to make that transition and readers will get the chance to either remain on the distribution list or to unsubscribe.

I really enjoy your weekly blog as but realise how much work is involved. Two suggestions –
you ask readers (more forcefully!) to submit items of interest.
you recruit one or more people to resource items weekly

So much amazing content Andy so once a month? You could supplement with occasional specials. Change of name makes sense
Andy, you are so gracious in asking us, your grateful followers. We will follow no matter when or where you send your thoughts. Ask yourself; Does the writing bring me joy? Do I look forward to sharing my thoughts with my friends all over the world? Your answers will help you make the decision.
I do think that this is a huge effort on your part and think that once a month would be kinder to yourself and we all would still benefit. You open our minds to so many different topics. Thank you.
